Window Gang Wins First Air Force Contract
Company to Clean Control Tower Windows at Homestead Air
Reserve base in South Florida

Window
Gang®, a national leader in exterior cleaning services, has won its
first contract with the U.S. Air Force, authorizing it to clean the
control tower windows at Homestead Air Reserve Base (ARB) in South
Florida. The one-year contract will last through
April
2015 with three options to renew.
"It is quite an honor to win a military contract in
which we are responsible for keeping the windows clean on something as
important as an air control tower for a U.S. Air Force base," said
Window Gang President Tim McCullen. "This contract further confirms
that our cleaning services are outstanding enough to satisfy the
quality, safety and insurance protocols strictly required by the
federal government."
While Window Gang has 25 years of experience cleaning high-rise windows
for residential, business and other governmental customers, McCullen
said cleaning the windows on an air control tower is possibly the most
critical work it has done in terms of ensuring the best visibility
possible. He said Window Gang will clean the tower's windows with its
patented wash-wax formula that leaves windows exceptionally clean and
protected from the elements. Environmentally safe, this unique wash
& wax formula is known to leave an invisible shield that repels
dust, dirt and pollen and keeps windows clean much longer than standard
solutions do.
McCullen said Window Gang's safety and insurance protocols also played
a significant part in winning the contract. "Our insured, fully
bonded service technicians are thoroughly trained to adhere to safety
protocol mandates," he said. "We do a background check on
every technician and require them to attend safety training on the use
of ladders, chemicals and extension poles and other safety
procedures."
